Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lessons based on the curriculum enabling the students to progress steadily and pass the kids to pass the regular in-house EIKEN tests.
  • Create positive learning environments including resources based on child-directed learning.
  • Develop strategies to guide positive children's behaviour.
  • Build good, open communication with children, families and staff.
  • Undertake administrative tasks as required.

 

You will need:

  • A bachelors degree or higher.
  • Fantastic organisational and teamwork skills.
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills.
  • A good level of computer literacy for computer based lessons.
  • Be punctual and reliable.
  • Non-smoker.

Currently there are about 13 lessons weekly at 2,600 yen each, but the hours could increase. From April 2016 a full-time position is offered. Commute fee is refunded up to 10,000 yen monthly.
